Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely as a hash). If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe — we never store your full credit card number.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the platform, including property addresses you analyze, reports you generate, and features you access. This data helps us improve the service and enforce plan limits.

Device & Log Data: We automatically collect IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs when you visit our site. This is standard for all web services and is used for security, analytics, and troubleshooting.

• Generate property analysis reports based on your searches
• Send price alert notifications (email and in-platform) for your saved properties
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, billing receipts)
• Monitor and prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access
• Aggregate anonymized usage statistics to improve our product

RealtyVex aggregates publicly available real estate data from third-party sources to generate investment analysis reports. We do not claim ownership of this underlying data. Property valuations, rental estimates, and market statistics are provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial advice.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing
• Resend — for transactional and alert emails
• Supabase / Vercel — for hosting and database infrastructure

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of RealtyVex and its users.

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. Property reports are cached for performance and expire after 12 hours. Alert notifications that have been read are automatically purged after 30 days. If you delete your account, all associated data (saved properties, reports, alerts, settings) is permanently removed.

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels. No data is shared with ad networks.

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database access is restricted to authenticated server-side code only. We follow industry-standard practices to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your saved properties and report history
• Opt out of alert emails (toggle alerts off in your dashboard)

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
